We spend the day unwinding in the lap of nature, getting to know our fellow travelers and just soaking in the peace. The next morning brings a journey to Tunganath, one of the Panch Kedars and the highest of them all. After seeking blessings from the almighty Creator of the Universe, we trek ahead to Chandrashila.
Chandrashila is the sacred spot where Lord Ram was believed to have meditated. The views of the Himalayan Giants like Nanda Devi, Chaukhamba, Trishul and Kedarkantha beckon you closer as you reach the top. To say the least, the views from the entire trek will simply leave you mesmerized!
On Day 4, we will be heading towards Binsar and checking in to our campsite. Binsar is a quaint hamlet in Almora District of Uttarakhand that is adorned with lush greenery, Himalayan Peaks glowing on either side and a soothing vibe that envelops the place in its warm embrace. On Day 5, we will indulge in a sightseeing tour of Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary and go to Binsar zero point which offers a 360 degree of Himalayan peaks. In the evening, we will enjoy the bonfire with Groovy music and delicious snacks!
Another day of our Uttarakhand trip on Day 6, we will head to Jim Corbett. It is the oldest national park in Asia known for its blend of nature and culture. The next day, you can enjoy the safari ride at its best! Spend your day with wildlife that is equally spread all over Jim Corbett National Park. Jim Corbett in India lets you witness wildlife in its rawest Form, on the safari you can spot the Royal Bengal Tigers, Deers, Elephants, many species of birds etc.
Carrying on with our journey , we will head to Rishikesh on Day 8 and check into our designated camps. Thenceforth, our sightseeing journey will begin with the iconic Beatles Ashram. We will continue by going to Janki Setu, Ram Jhula and Lakshman Jhula. The food of Uttarakhand is a blend of taste and nutrition and to experience that we will lose ourselves in café hopping. After enjoying the pleasant afternoon, we will head towards Triveni Ghat for Ganga Arti. This Maha Arti is followed by the chanting of bhajans, beating drums and bells; undeniably, a glorious moment.
At night, we will welcome the New Year in the grandest manner, with music blaring, snacks and a cake! To welcome a new year with fellow travelers amidst the mountains is a truly wonderful and happy feeling!
We end the trip with a BANG! After spending an awesome night, the next day will come with a splash of thrill! Toady, we will head out for river rafting, the pre-eminent adventure of Rishikesh in the tidal waves of the Ganga. Later, we will indulge in the next pre-eminent adventurous activity, cliff jumping. This brings us to the end of an awesome journey, where we will carry the memories with us for a lifetime!
